ABOUT US

PROFILE

Beckson Design Associates (BDA) is a highly innovative and experienced planning and design studio with a special focus on interior architecture and interior design,  workplace, and unique residential. Since our formation in 1985, we have maintained a technically proficient and creatively talented staff, which includes certified interior designers, licensed architects and LEED Accredited Professionals. Both Michael Beckson, founding Principal, and Steven Heisler, Principal, are actively involved in all projects. Every BDA project is designed to meet our clients' unique functional and aesthetic goals while adhering to budgetary and scheduling requirements. Our objective is to provide value by producing inventive solutions forged through a collaborative process between our clients and the project team. Our commitment to design excellence and responsive service has translated to a high rate of repeat clientele and referral business for the firm.

SUSTAINABILITY

Through the years, BDA has practiced creative sustainable design due to our commitment to improving the world we live in. We designed and completed one of the first private sector projects to achieve LEED Silver Certification for Commercial Interiors. Even though LEED Certification may not be the objective for every project, the concepts of sustainability can be incorporated into every design to benefit both the client and the environment. With our continuing research and education into new materials, products and manufacturers, our team of LEED Accredited Professionals excels in planning and design techniques that support our commitment to sustainability.
